I know it's not likely, but I really hope that the upcoming Luquier Reverse (and the as-of-yet unannounced Premium product in 2022) give some boosts to Silver Thorns in Premium. Here is the list, and feel free to change things around to how you like. Keep in mind that this is a very rough list, but I attempted to make a list that I think is solid, mostly from V cards and the Revival Collection cards, though there is one older Silver Thorn in there. well, it doesn't have a Gift Marker, and the Silver Thorn strides aren't great. In theory, the Stride Bonus version of Luquier could be worth running, but. Similarly, Venus Luquier isn't a fantastic vanguard either due to her field vanishing being tied to an ACT skill. Luquier (V) is a very good beat stick, but that's about all she's capable of doing in Premium at the moment. This can be circumvented with some Strides, but you're going to have to commit cards from hand.

We can't, and as such we don't get mass field call like the V variant can with Luquier's ACT skill. Certain clans like Neo Nectar and Murakumo (though Nue Daio is banned now, thankfully,) can Stride during the main phase. The downside to Silver Thorns in Premium is that we don't have a way of calling out a field without playing cards from hand. In theory there's that one G3 Dark States order that Baromagnes uses, but by the time you get to play that you're already a turn behind which isn't great.

All your tutors go to Soul, and we don't have a way of taking cards from Soul and adding them to hand. However, Dorianne is a 1 of and you're not likely to draw into it every game.

Silver Thorns in Premium aren't an archetype I've really explored because I don't like their V playstyle, though I can give a few quick pointers.įirstly, I think you want to be sitting on either Dorianne as your main VG, since they let you put your field back into Soul and card draw, which both protects your board and gives you advantage.
